Teenager suffers minor injuries in Rainbow Beach Rd rollover

A teenage girl has narrowly avoided serious injury after rolling her car multiple times while driving along Rainbow Beach Rd on Friday night.

Police said the 19-year-old driver was headed south in her Holden sedan just after 10.15pm when the vehicle crashed off the road, rolling “a number of times”.

Paramedics came across the crash, which happened 3km south of Searys Creek, about 30 minutes later.

The teenager was treated for minor injuries suffered in the crash and taken to Gympie Hospital in a stable condition.
