A woman has been killed and a teenager seriously injured in a horror crash in Booubyjan on Saturday.
About 12.10pm, police were called to a crash on the Burnett Highway, near Ross Road.
Initial investigations indicate a car, with two occupants, was travelling south on the Burnett Highway when it veered off the road and rolled.
The driver of the car, a 77-year-old Yeppoon woman, was entrapped and died at the scene.
The passenger, a 14-year-old Brisbane girl, was seriously injured and has been flown to Queensland Children’s Hospital.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the fatal single-vehicle crash.
Any witnesses or anyone with dashcam or CCTV from the area around the time of the incident is urged to contact police.
