Man hospitalised in Gympie after two motorbike crash in Bells Bridge

One man has been hospitalised after two motorbikes collided on a Queensland highway.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said at 10.53 on Saturday two motorbikes riders were involved in a crash on the Wide Bay Highway in Bells Bridge in the Gympie region.

The QAS spokesman said two male patients were assessed on the scene and one of the men was transported to Gympie Hospital with an ankle injury.

The other rider declined transport.

A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the crash happened on the north-west lane of the highway and investigations are ongoing.

Anyone with information or footage of the crash is urged to contact police.
