Details of a drug dealing tradie’s gruesome attack on a woman have been uncovered in court including that he said “you’re going to sleep now” while choking her.
Liam Jye Kirstenfeldt, 25, pleaded guilty in the Gympie District Court on January 30, to 42 charges, including choking, trafficking a drug, six counts of assault and 29 counts of supplying a dangerous drug as well
The court was told that Kirstenfeldt was in a heated argument with a woman on June 16, 2021 when he forced her into a chokehold.
Kirstenfeldt lifted her as the woman was smoking a cigarette, causing her to bite him in an attempt to free herself.
He then threw her belongings on the floor and pulled her hair.

Kirstenfeldt later pushed her down a few steps of stairs; at the bottom of the stairs, he aligned himself to wrap his thighs around her neck.
“You’re going to f---ing sleep now, bitch,” Kirstenfeldt had told the woman while she was blacking out.
Seeing she was still barely conscious, Kirstenfeldt bashed her with a garbage bag filled with empty cans.
He briefly left the house but returned later when he forced himself in by kicking in a glass door and then proceeded to headbutt the woman.
Police later arrested Kirstenfeldt at the house and seized his phone.
On the device, police found 73 interactions with 10 customers to sell cannabis between May 2020 and June 2021.
He sold amounts ranging from three grams to 112 grams – for $1200 – crown prosecutor Michael Andronicus told the court.
Of the 73 interactions, 50 resulted in sales.
The phone also contained evidence Kirstenfeldt sold meth 29 times.
He frequently contacted his customers first when he restocked and advertised his product.
Some transactions dated back to two weeks after he was placed on probation for taking a video of himself using a taser on a bird.
Following the choking incident, Kirstenfeldt made contact with the woman multiple times and insisted she withdrew the charges.
Defence barrister Simone Bain told the court Kirstenfeldt’s work history included time as an electrical apprentice, plumber, concreter and carpentry apprentice.
He also previously owned a landscaping business, Ms Bain told the court.
Judge Glenn Cash sentenced Kirstenfeldt to three years’ prison to be released on parole on February 16, 2023
Kirstenfelt also pleaded guilty to possessing anything thing used in connection of trafficking, four counts of possessing utensils or pipes, possessing anything used in the commission of a drug offence and attempting to pervert justice.
