A regional Queensland woman has been charged with several offences over a fatal crash which killed a beloved mum of seven.

A 42-year-old woman will return to court next month after being charged with multiple offences over a fatal crash which killed a Mary Valley mother of seven.
Kathleen Dennis, 56, was killed in the horror crash at Kandanga Imbil Rd on the afternoon of Wednesday, September 28, 2022, when the car she was in collided with another vehicle headed in the opposite direction.
Her husband, Steve Dennis, was a well known veterinarian in the Mary Valley and Gympie regions.

Police have since charged Carla Anne Lutgenau, from Zilzie near Rockhampton, with several offences following the crash.
These include two counts of dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death or grievous bodily harm, one count of driving under the influence, and one count of failing to provide a specimen for a breath or blood test.
She is due to reappear in Gympie Magistrates Court on June 19.
