Don't miss out on the headlines from Gympie. Followed categories will be added to My News.
There was hardly a cloud in the sky as the Gympie Turf Club welcomed a packed crowd for one of the biggest race days of the year, the Nolan Muster Cup.
Punters lined the stands and the scattered on the lawn to watch Crockett edge out Jochberg by just 0.1 of a length to claim the feature race of the day.
With Jake Molloy on board for trainers Adam Simpson and Dallas Urand, the gelding celebrated his sixth birthday in style by pinching the win at the post to take home the trophy.
My Certain was good enough to win the penultimate race of the day, while Molloy scored another win aboard Rebel Cause in Race 3.
