Shinnecock shrugged off top weight to run home the winner in the feature race, the Gympie Mazda BM65 Handicap, by 1.8 lengths with Louise Dillon on board.
The Lindsay Gough-trained, 7-year-old gelding held the lead from the 800m and 400m marks, winning comfortably from Righteousness and Galvarino.
