Man taken to Gympie Hospital after being injured by bull at Mary Valley Show

A man has been taken to hospital after he was stomped by a bull at a popular regional Qld agricultural show.

A man in his 20s has been taken to Gympie Hospital after suffering chest injuries when he was stood on by a bull at the Mary Valley Show.

Paramedics were called to the Imbil Showgrounds, about 30km south of Gympie, shortly before 2.30pm to help treat the man.

It is unknown if the incident happened at rodeo being held at the show.

The man was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
