A man has been seriously hurt after his car slammed into multiple obstacles before rolling and landing on its roof in Gympie. UPDATES.

A man has suffered serious injuries in a shocking crash in which his car ricocheted off a concrete culvert into a tree, and then rolled into a ditch.
Multiple emergency crews were called to the scene of the crash at the intersection of Brisbane and Noosa Rds, Monkland, shortly after 9pm Monday.
Police said the man, of unknown age, was driving south along Brisbane Rd when he failed to take a left-hand turn.
His car left the road, hit the culvert, bounced into a tree, and then came to a rest on its roof in a ditch.
The driver suffered head and abdominal injuries in the crash and was helped from the wreckage by officers, police said.
He was taken to Gympie Hospital in a serious condition.
