The extraordinary progress of work on the $1bn Gympie Bypass more than halfway into its construction has been unveiled in stunning new images captured by a Gympie photography company
Infinity Flights Photography snapped the images with a drone, flying the device along the southern section of the 26km upgrade of the Bruce Highway.
Plans unveiled to keep region’s renewable hub growing
The video helpfully points out landmarks in relation to the bypass, including the Roadcraft driver education track, the Mothar Mountain Speedway, and the Gympie Connection Rd.
New pics of the major intersections and bridges along the southern stretch were snapped by Infinity Flights too.
Work on the bypass is expected to be finished in mid-2024.
