‘Heard them screaming’: Cops follow gouge marks after Tiaro ATM heist

Two men have been arrested after allegedly smashing a car into a service station at Tiaro on the Bruce Highway in the dead of night, then hooking the ATM inside up to their car and dragging it down the highway to a country road.

Police were on Monday investigating a break and enter at a service station in Tiaro.

Police said it appeared an unknown number of people used a vehicle to smash into the front of the Bruce Highway business shortly after 3am on Monday.

When police got there they saw significant damage had been done to the business and that the ATM was gone from inside the service station.
