Body found on Teewah Beach a Sunshine Coast man
Police have confirmed that a 21-year-old man found dead on a beach north of Noosa was from the Sunshine Coast. His body was found the day after he walked away from his campsite.

Police and SES crews found the body of a 21-year-old man north of Noosa the day after he was seen walking away from his campsite on Saturday, May 27.
The man, believed to be from the Sunshine Coast, had left his Teewah Beach campsite around 9pm on Saturday, a Queensland Police Service spokesperson said.
After the alarm was raised, a police and SES search was issued. A member of the public found his body near the Freshwater Rd 4WD track about 2pm on Sunday, May 28, 2023.
It is suspected he died of drowning and was found near the water’s edge.
The police are currently preparing a coroners report. His death is not considered to be suspicious.
