A designer home on 2.5 acres of land in the middle of Gladstone has sold for $1.19 million to local buyers.

A designer home on 2.5 acres of land in the middle of Gladstone has sold for $1.19 million to local buyers.

The home at 23 Scholes Way, Kirkwood, sold on February 3 through Ray White Gladstone.

Property specialist Linda Bailey said the home only had two inspections before it went under contract and sold to buyers from Gladstone.

“As soon as I listed the property I had a couple of people who I had been in contact with who were looking for up market properties,” Ms Bailey said.

“I phoned the first one and it wasn’t quite suitable and the second buyers it was perfect, they loved it.

“I phoned them and we had the inspection and it was done.

“They had actually been away for a little while and returned to Gladstone and were looking for the right property.”

The home was built in 2013 and boasts four bedrooms, three bathrooms, massive kitchen, large walk-in pantry, open plan living area, office, huge outdoor entertaining area, in-ground swimming pool, double garage and separate 4 bay shed.

Ms Bailey said the property overlooks the city and boasts water and mountain views.

“It’s a beautiful stand alone property that was just really up market and in demand,” she said.

“We have buyers looking for acreage properties and high end properties.

“It’s not all about the lower price homes.

“We do have million dollar properties in demand as well.”
