A home with some of the best views of Seventeen Seventy’s Bustard Bay and the ocean has sold for $1.42 million to a builder from South East Queensland.

A home with some of the best views in Central Queensland sold for $1.42 million to a builder.

The property at 15 Orton Court, Seventeen Seventy, changed owners on January 10 through Ray White Rural Agnes Water.

Principal Damien Gomersall said there was reasonable interest in the property.

“It was a big property but it did need some work,” Mr Gomersall said.

He said the buyer was a builder from South East Queensland.

The two-storey home, built in 1995, boasts four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a garage and vaulted ceilings on an 800 sqm block.

It has an high raked exposed beam timber ceiling, a large kitchen with hardwood timber bench tops that flows into the living areas and three bedrooms, which all open onto the wrap around veranda with uninterrupted ocean views.

Downstairs there is entertainment area and large rumpus room, bedroom, second bathroom, laundry and ground floor patio with ocean views.

“The views on that property were incredible,” Mr Gomersall said.

“It was a large block of land which is hard to find these days.”
