A single shotgun round was reportedly fired into the bedroom window of a house in Gladstone on Wednesday night, with the alleged shooter driving away from the scene.
According to police, a black-coloured sedan pulled up on Pike Crescent, Toolooa about 11.50pm on May 8 and an unknown person exited the vehicle and fired a single shotgun round into the bedroom window of a house.
The person got back into the vehicle and drove away towards Squire St.
The occupant of the house was not in the room when the shot was fired and no one was reported to be injured.
A spokeswoman for Queensland Police Service could not confirm whether the occupant of the house was home at the time.
Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or may have CCTV or dashcam footage within the vicinity of Dalrymple Dr, Squire St and Tuna St between 11pm on Wednesday and 1am on Thursday.
