A man has been flown to hospital with serious injuries after he was involved in a vehicle and motorcycle crash in the Gladstone region on Saturday.

A man was flown to Rockhampton Hospital with serious injuries after he was involved in a vehicle and motorcycle crash near Gladstone on Saturday.

Emergency services were called to the crash on Tannum Sands Road, Tannum Sands, at 3.23pm.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the man, who was in his 50s, suffered back, chest and pelvic injuries.

The man was transported by road to a helipad in Gladstone to meet with RACQ CapRescue.

The spokeswoman said he was then flown to Rockhampton Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
