Gladstone Airport: Alliance Airlines flight delayed after Cessna Centurion incident
A jet was forced to circle Gladstone Airport for more than an hour after a light aircraft carried out an emergency landing at Gladstone on Friday morning.

Major delays were experienced at Gladstone Airport Friday morning after a light aircraft carried out an emergency landing on the runway.
Flight data shows that a Cessna Centurion took off from Gladstone at 6.42am and reached an altitude of 270m before turning back and landing just five minutes later at 6.47am.
The pilot was reportedly not injured in the incident, however an emergency response was required and the aircraft had to be dragged off the runway.
In recent days, the Cessna had carried out multiple flights from Gladstone to Caloundra.
Flight radars show that an Alliance Airlines flight that departed Brisbane at 6.23am was supposed to land at Gladstone at 7.30am but was forced to circle for more than an hour while emergency crews cleared the runway.
The delayed Fokker 70 aircraft eventually landed at Gladstone one hour and three minutes late.
Queensland Ambulance Service did not have any information about the incident.
