A baby girl has been rushed to hospital after a “post immersion” incident at a Central Queensland home.

A baby girl has been taken to hospital after a pool incident in Central Queensland on Sunday.
Paramedics were called to a private residence at North Ridge Drive, Calliope, about 1.45pm.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the baby girl was taken to Gladstone Hospital in a stable condition after “a post immersion incident”.
“The baby’s chest was clear but (she) did inhale a bit of water,” the QAS spokeswoman said.
“We’ve just transported (her) pretty quickly to Gladstone Hospital but (she’s) stable in all other aspects.”
