Drink drivers, drug drivers face Gladstone Magistrates Court
An engineer, a retired butcher and a machinery operator were among the latest drink drivers to face Gladstone court, while three mums fronted for drug driving.

The following people pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court to either drink driving or drug driving offences.

William Hunter Reid, 44
Reid blew a reading of .072 when he was caught drink driving on Glenlyon Street, Gladstone, on August 27.
He pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court to drink driving and failing to appear in court.
With no prior offending of this sort, Reid, a machinery operator, was fined $550 and disqualified from driving for one month.
A traffic conviction was recorded.
Emma Jane Gorman, 34
Gorman blew a reading of .068 when she was caught drink driving on Hampton Drive, Tannum Sands, on November 14.
She pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on December 3 to drink driving.
With no prior offending of this sort, Gorman, an administration worker and married mother of two, was fined $400 and disqualified from driving for one month.
A traffic conviction was recorded.
Lindsay Gavin Sippel, 61
Sippel blew a reading of .059 when he was caught drink driving on the Bruce Highway at Benaraby, on November 2.
He pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on December 3 to drink driving.
With no similar offending in the past five years, Sippel, a retired butcher, was fined $400 and disqualified from driving for one month.

Lionel James Trotea, 35
Trotea blew a reading of .091 when he was caught drink driving on the Dawson Highway, West Gladstone, on November 13.
He pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on December 9 to drink driving.
With no previous offending of this sort and having completed a traffic offenders' program, Trotea, an engineer, was fined $600 and disqualified from driving for one month.

Colby Bryce Daniels, 28
Daniels was caught driving with cannabis in his system on Glenlyon Street, Gladstone, on November 1.
He pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on December 17 to drug driving.
With one previous similar offence in the past five years, Daniels was fined $350 and disqualified from driving for three months.
A traffic conviction was recorded.
Kody Aleister Young, 28
Young was caught driving with cannabis in his system on the Bruce Highway at Iveragh, on October 21.
He pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on December 17 to drug driving and unlicensed driving.
With one similar offence in the past five years, Young, a father of four, was fined $1000 and disqualified from driving for six months.

Tayla Elaine D’Arcy, 28
Probationary licence holder D’Arcy had both methamphetamine and cannabis in her system when police intercepted her on Glenlyon Street, Gladstone, on August 25.
She pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on December 9 to drug driving.
With a previous similar offence in the past five years, D’Arcy, a mother of two, was fined $600 and disqualified from driving for four months.

Samuel Abderhalden, 25
Abderhalden was caught driving with cannabis in his system on Kroombit Street, Biloela, on September 9.
He pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on December 3 to drug driving and unlicensed driving.
With two previous similar offences in the past five years, Abderhalden, a plasterer and father of two, was fined $800 and disqualified from driving for seven months.

Renee Louise Blandthorn, 35
Blandthorn was caught driving with methamphetamine and cannabis in her system on Ann Street, Gladstone, on August 11.
She pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on November 13 to drug driving.
With two previous drug driving offences in the past five years, Blandthorn, a single mum of three, was fined $800 and disqualified from driving for six months.

Kylie Marrii King, 52
King was caught driving with both methamphetamine and cannabis in her system on Grant Street, Charleville, on September 16.
She pleaded guilty in Gladstone Magistrates Court on November 27 to drug driving.
With two previous drug driving offences in the past five years, King, an unemployed mother of two, was fined $400 and disqualified from driving for six months.
