Three men arrested at Tiaro over alleged assault of elderly man
The three men, who are known to each other, were arrested on the Fraser Coast by Toowoomba detectives.

Three men have been arrested at Tiaro after allegedly assaulting and robbing a 75-year-old man at Pittsworth on Saturday.
About 1.30pm, the three men allegedly attended the 75-year-old’s Taylor Street property to negotiate the sale of a vehicle.
Negotiations broke down and the group allegedly began to assault the man by punching and kicking him.
During the incident, one of the men allegedly hit the 75-year-old over the head with a rock.
Bystanders intervened, causing the group to run off, but not before allegedly stealing the man’s mobile phone.
On Tuesday, Toowoomba detectives travelled to Tiaro and arrested three men aged 26, 31 and 51.
All three have been charged with robbery while armed in company.
They have been refused police bail and will appear in Maryborough Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
The trio are known to each other.
