Three injured in midnight Walliebum crash

Five people have been taken to hospital, three with head and back injuries after a single vehicle crash left one of the occupants trapped in the car.

A single vehicle crash in the Fraser Coast late Friday night had emergency services working to free one of the occupants from the car and left three with injuries.

Emergency services rushed to Churchill Mine Rd in Walliebum, about 25 minutes south of Hervey Bay after a single vehicle accident left one of the five occupants trapped inside the vehicle at 11.49pm on Friday.

The person initially trapped inside the car was transported to Hervey Bay Hospital with back pain and in a stable condition, a Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said.

Four other people were taken to Hervey Bay Hospital in a stable condition, they said.

One person with a head injury, another with back pain, and two females for precautionary measures.
