It’s the perfect option for those on the go, and it’s coming to the Bay.
The Chronicle can confirm Zarraffa’s Coffee will be opening a new store in Pialba in a few days, with a drive-through for all your coffee desires.
The store – located at Shop 2, 12 Boat Harbour Drive in Pialba – will officially open on Tuesday, June 1 at 5am.
The Pialba Zarraffa’s will mark the coffee-chain’s second addition to Hervey Bay and will be operated by Bec and Chris Bee.
The couple first brought Zarraffa’s Coffee to the area in 2009, when they opened their current store at the Bay Plaza Shopping Centre.
Bec Bee said she has “long held a desire” to run a drive-through in Hervey Bay.
“(We) understand the need for greater convenience and now locals will be spoiled for choice,” said Bec.
“Serving up our handcrafted coffee to more people, both in-store and on-the-go, is another chapter in our 11-year journey with Zarraffa’s.”
Zarraffa’s CEO Marne Sheldon said she is keen to see Bec and Chris’ journey with the company expand.
“Bec and Chris are part of our franchise family who have worked hard during recent years ... It is hugely rewarding as a business to see them take this next step,” Ms Sheldon said.
Zarraffa’s Coffee at Pialba will be open seven days a week, from 5am to 8pm.
