Investigation continues into violent Hervey Bay home invasion

Police are continuing to investigate a home invasion in Hervey Bay that left a woman with head injuries.

Investigations are continuing into an alleged violent home invasion in Hervey Bay.

About 4.45am on Monday, police were called to Charles St following reports a person had forced entry into the home and assaulted a 58-year-old Pialba woman.

Upon arrival, a woman was found with a head injury and was transported to Hervey Bay Hospital for treatment.

No charges have been laid as investigations are ongoing.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
