A drunk man who created a disturbance in the main street of Tiaro before going into a service station and stealing a Chiko roll has faced court.
Robin Pete Mann pleaded guilty to one count of unauthorised dealing with shop goods and two counts of committing a public nuisance when he faced Maryborough Magistrates Court this week.
Police prosecutor Kim Harwood said on August 5, Tiaro police were contacted by multiple people stating that a male person was intoxicated in Mayne St.
Police found Mann had entered various stores and become aggressive while intoxicated, Sgt Harwood said.

Mann went into a service station, caused a verbal disturbance and refused to leave, before getting a $4 Chiko roll, which he failed to pay for.
“His general behaviour in the Tiaro area was also seen by members of the public. They were alarmed and distressed by his behaviour in order to call police and that is in the actual town centre,” Sgt Harwood said.
Duty lawyer Morgan Harris said Mann was working at a cafe at Toogoom six days a week.
At the time of the offending, Mann’s longtime relationship had ended and he had been homeless for a time.
But he was back on track and seeing a psychologist, Mr Harris said.
Mann was fined $600 and no conviction was recorded.
