A Hervey Bay man who police allege kept folders featuring the personal details of schoolgirls he labelled “projects” now faces 10 stalking charges.

Riley John Worth previously appeared in Bundaberg Supreme Court on five counts of unlawful stalking and one of possessing child exploitation material.

The court heard at the time Mr Worth allegedly had files containing names and addresses of at least five girls aged between 14 and 16, with “deeply concerning” aspects including labelling the teens as “projects” and plotting how to lure them.

In one instance, he allegedly wrote of a teen “I don’t know how I can get her, either breaking and sneaking in late or early morning, message or trap.”

The court also heard allegations Mr Worth was in possession of child exploitation material, including a computer-generated image of a girl aged 14/15 depicted in a sexual pose, although Justice Crow noted the alleged image did not represent a real person.

On Thursday, Mr Worth did not appear in front of Hervey Bay Magistrate Trinity McGarvie.

Instead, his lawyer Virginia Ukpabi asked the court for a further adjournment to obtain the brief of evidence after five additional charges were brought by police.

The case was adjourned to March 27 for a committal hearing and Ms Ukpabi requested Mr Worth’s appearance be excused by his lawyers as his bail conditions currently required him to live in Brisbane.

No plea was entered, and he will remain on strict bail conditions that prohibit him from accessing any electronic devices, remaining under constant supervision, attending weekly counselling sessions, and wearing a monitoring device at all times.
