Investigations are continuing into a hit and run at Pialba that left an e-bike rider in a serious condition.
The incident happened on Saturday, December 16, about 5.15pm.
According to police, the e-bike rider was travelling through the roundabout at Beach Rd and Boat Harbour Dr, when a small, light-coloured vehicle collided with his bike and a road sign.
The driver did not stop following the crash, despite the car sustaining damage to the front and right side.
Other passing motorists stopped and helped the 67-year-old e-bike rider, who was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Investigators are appealing for the driver to come forward, by attending a local police station.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said investigations into the incident were continuing.
Police are asking witnesses and anyone with information or dashcam vision that may assist police with their investigations, to contact police.
