A Fraser Coast teen has been given a notice to appear following a traffic crash in the early hours of Good Friday, April 18.
At around 2:40am, a bronze Holden Commodore was travelling along Southern Cross Circuit when it allegedly lost control and crashed into a fence outside a business.
CCTV from the business, Hervey Bay Diesel Services, shows the car first fishtailing up Southern Cross Cct at Urangan, while two passengers hang their heads and chests out the windows – one in the front passenger seat, and one in back behind the driver.
As the car approaches the business the driver loses control, sending the car into a skid which ends abruptly when its front end smashes into the wire security fence.
A QPS spokesperson said the driver of the Commodore, an 18-year-old Granville woman, has been charged with one count of dangerous operation of a vehicle.
She is expected to appear in Hervey Bay Magistrates Court on Thursday, May 8.
