Fraser Coast police officer charged with accessing confidential information
A first-year police officer charged with accessing confidential information has fronted court in Maryborough.

A Hervey Bay police officer fronted court in Maryborough on Monday, October 21, on charges of misusing a restricted computer and accessing confidential information systems.
Suspended first-year constable Mark Staib appeared in the Maryborough Magistrates Court after allegedly committing the offences while on duty at the Hervey Bay Police Station.
No plea was entered and his case was adjourned to November 26.
Mr Staib will continue to serve a suspension as he awaits his next court date.
