Daryl David Hall charged with trafficking dangerous drugs, assault, strangulation

A Hervey Bay dad, who police allege is a violent, prolific drug dealer, had his matters mentioned in court on Tuesday.
The case against Daryl David Hall, 37, was mentioned briefly this week in Maryborough Magistrates Court where he is facing three charges of trafficking in dangerous drugs, five of possessing dangerous drugs, receiving or possessing property obtained from trafficking or supplying, using a carriage service to make a threat to kill, wilful damage, four of choking/strangulation/suffocation, four of assaults occasioning bodily harm, four of common assault, one count of possessing shortened firearms and three of anything used in the commission of a crime.
Lawyer Morgan Harris said legal aid had now been approved and an adjournment was sought.
Police prosecutor Sergeant Sonia Edwards said there had been a partial brief of evidence disclosed, with some evidence in relation to surveillance and phone surveillance, being provided.
Mr Hall was currently remanded in custody, the court heard.
The matter was adjourned until April 20, 2025.
