A man will face court for obstructing police after a crash in Hervey Bay and, in a separate incident, traffic chaos ensued after a two-car crash on a major Fraser Coast road.

A man has been charged with obstructing police after a crash in Hervey Bay and traffic was diverted in a separate incident on one of the Fraser Coast’s major roads.
The first crash happened at the intersection of Boat Harbour Drive and Bideford St in Torquay.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the two-car crash happened about 2.20pm and there were no injuries.
But she said it would be alleged there had been an altercation in the wake of the crash when one of the drivers spoke to police.
The 46-year-old Maryborough man has been charged with obstructing police and failing to give way, the spokeswoman said.
The man will face Hervey Bay Magistrates Court on June 20.
In a separate incident about 4.20pm, a two-car nose-to-tail crash occurred on Maryborough Hervey Bay Rd, near Settlers Rd, in Susan River that caused a traffic diversion as the incident was cleared.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the crash and another broken down car near the nose-to-tail contributed to the traffic build-up.
She said traffic was diverted for some time but the crash had since been cleared.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said all patients were taken in a stable condition to the Hervey Bay Hospital.
