A motorcyclist, killed in a crash near Maryborough, has been identified as a dearly loved father, “Poppy” and brother, missed by many mates including the four-legged kind.

A motorcyclist, who was killed in a crash at Tuan has been identified as a beloved father, brother and son.
Scott Hay, 52, was riding a KTM 1290 SuperADV R and was travelling in the vicinity of Tuan Road before he lost control and crashed on July 7 about 3.40pm.
Mr Hay sustained critical injuries and was declared dead at the scene.
His funeral notice, released on the weekend, said the Bidwill man was “tragically taken doing what he loved” and would be missed by many including his pet dog Beanie.
The funeral will be held for Mr Hay on July 19 at the Heritage Chapel at Maryborough Crematorium at 10am.
In the wake of the crash, Forensic Crash Unit officers appealed to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
