2023 Wide Bay Burnett Housing & Construction award winners

Rising stars, stunning pools and bathrooms, and incredible houses and buildings have been singled out as the best of the best at the Wide Bay and Burnett Housing and Construction Awards. See all the projects that won and who built them:

Wide Bay’s best tradesmen and women, and construction companies were honoured at the annual Wide Bay Burnett Housing and Construction Awards on Sunday night.

Run by Master Builders Queensland the awards honour the achievements of the region’s construction industry over the previous 12 months.

Big award winners included Bungalow being awarded House of the Year for Saltwater Shores in Toogoom, Hutchinson Builders winning Project of the Year for QFES North Coast Regional Headquarters and Maryborough Fire and Rescue Station, and CRJ Designer Homes winning the President’s Award for Henderson345 in Gooburrum.

Mariah Robinson of Richters Joinery won the Women in Building Award at the 2023 Wide Bay Burnett Housing and Construction Awards.

Kresten Ramage of Ramage Building won the Rising Star Award at the Wide Bay Burnett Housing and Construction Awards.

Harrison Charge of JRZ Homes won Apprentice of the Year at the Wide Bay Burnett Housing and Construction Awards.

JRZ Homes won the award for best home renovation project t between $400,000 and $650,000 for Lookout Bugara at the 2023 Wide Bay Burnett Housing & Construction Awards.

Dean Wright Builders won the award for best house between $200,000 to $400,000 for their Coastal Queensland in Maryborough at the 2023 Wide Bay Burnett Housing & Construction Awards.

Bundy Homes won the award for best residential bathroom for Cullum in Coral Cove at the 2023 Wide Bay Burnett Housing & Construction Awards.

Mainbrace Constructions won the award for Bunnings Hervey Bay which was named the best retail facility over $5 million at the 2023 Wide Bay Burnett Housing & Construction Awards.

Nathan Groszmann Constructions won the award for excellence in sustainable living for the Woodgate Beachhouse Reno at the 2023 Wide Bay Burnett Housing & Construction Awards.

CRJ Designer Homes won the President's Award at the Wide Bay Burnett Housing and Construction Awards for Henderson345 in Gooburrum.

Mike Murry Homes won the award for best home renovation project over $1 million at the 2023 Wide Bay Burnett Housing & Construction Awards for Sea Eagle in Agnes Water.

Adina Designed Interiors was named Commercial Trader of the Year at the 2023 Wide Bay Burnett Housing & Construction Awards.

Naturcom Pools won the award for best residential swimming pool for Pyne Retreat at the 2023 Wide Bay Burnett Housing & Construction Awards.

Bungalow won the House of the Year award for Saltwater Shores (Toogoom) at the 2023 Wide Bay Burnett Housing & Construction Awards.

Badge Constructions won the award for best education facility up to $10 million for the Riverside Distance Education Centre at the 2023 Wide Bay Burnett Housing & Construction Awards.

Mike Murry Homes won the award for best individual home from $500,000 to $750,000 for Banks House at the 2023 Wide Bay Burnett Housing & Construction Awards.

Murchie Constructions won the Commercial fit out up to $5 million award at the 2023 Wide Bay Burnett Housing & Construction Awards for the Coral Coast Orthopaedic Medical Suite.

Scott Thomsen Constructions won the award for best residential kitchen at the 2023 Wide Bay Burnett Housing & Construction Awards for Touch of Paradise in Tinana.

Hutchinson Builders won Project of the Year at the Wide Bay Burnett Housing and Construction Awards for the QFES North Coast headquarters in Maryborough.

CRJ Designer Homes won the award for best individual home from $350,000 to $500,000 for this Elliot Heads residence at the 2023 Wide Bay Burnett Housing & Construction Awards.

McIntosh Homes won the award for best individual home up to $350,000 for Rocksville in Agnes Water at the 2023 Wide Bay Burnett Housing & Construction Awards.

McIntosh Homes won the award for best use of sloping sites for Starfish in Agnes Water at the 2023 Wide Bay Burnett Housing & Construction Awards.

O'Rourke Constructions won the award for the best building up to $5 million for the Woodgate Beach Hotel upgrades at the 2023 Wide Bay Burnett Housing & Construction Awards.

Kleidon Masterbuilt Homes won the award for best home renovation project up to $200,000 for the Repeat Offender property in Bargara.

Hutchinson Builders won the award for best community service facility at the 2023 Wide Bay Burnett Housing & Construction Awards for the Maryborough Fire and Rescue Service upgrades.
