Man dead, woman fighting for life after horror Fernvale crash
A man has died and two other people taken to hospital - including a woman with critical injuries - after a two-vehicle crash at Fernvale, west of Brisbane.

A man has died and a woman is fighting for her life after a horrific crash at Fernvale west of Brisbane on Saturday morning.
Police investigations show around 7.30am a Hyundai Excel and a Suzuki Swift crashed at the intersection of Forest Hill Fernvale and Fielding roads.
The driver of the Hyundai, a 58-year-old Birkdale man, died from his injuries after he was flow by rescue helicopter to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.
The driver of the other car, a 77-year-old Lowood woman - who was also taken by chopper to the Princess Alexandra Hospital - remains in a critical condition.
A passenger of the Hyundai, a 28-year-old Birkdale man, was taken to Ipswich Hospital in a stable condition.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the crash and anyone with information is being urged to contact police.
