Maua Lagaaia, 33, has striking to cause death charge mentioned in Dalby court
A Brisbane man accused of punching Dalby man Lincoln Hoad outside a pub and causing fatal injuries has had an update to his case in court.

A Brisbane man charged with striking to cause the death of Western Downs man Lincoln Hoad in September 2023 had his charge mentioned in Dalby Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Duty lawyer Paige Hetherington appeared as town agent for Robertson O’Gorman Solicitors, requesting a listing date for a committal hearing to take place.
Police prosecutor Sergeant Derek Brady told the court he wasn’t aware the relevant application had been filed by Mr Lagaaia’s solicitors.
Magistrate Kathleen Payne made an order to allow Mr Lagaaia’s solicitor’s to file an application for cross examination of witnesses to Dalby Police Prosecutions for their consideration by March 26.
Police prosecutions were ordered to provide a response to the application by April 7.
Pending police prosecution’s response to the application, Magistrate Payne set the matter back in court for a committal hearing on May 7.
Mr Lagaaia’s bail was enlarged.
