Fire crews have responded to a blaze on private property between Montrose Rd, Clarks Rd and Kogan Condamine Rd in Kogan.
A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said the blaze, which had been burning for several days, was being monitored by land owners when about 1.50pm Monday afternoon the fire jumped a fire break on the eastern side and crews were called in to work with them and strengthen its boundary.
Crews are currently responding to the blaze using bulldozers to strengthen the fire break while being supported by firefighting aircraft.
The cause of the fire remains unknown and investigations are underway.
Aircraft are also being used to map the blaze and no properties are at risk.
