Passenger injured after car drives off embankment at Jimbour

A passenger has been taken to hospital after the car they were travelling in lost control and went off an embankment.

Two people are lucky to have avoided serious injury after losing control of their car and driving off an embankment in Jimbour East.

Authorities responded to the single vehicle crash on the Bunya Highway at about 9.59pm finding two occupants in the vehicle.

The driver was uninjured, however the passenger suffered a leg injury and was transported to the Dalby Hospital in a stable condition.

The cause of the crash remains unknown.
