A man had been taken to Warwick Hospital after a house fire on Grafton St in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Three paramedic units and fire crews were called to the property at about 1.20am and took the man to hospital in a stable condition.

The extent of the man’s injuries are unknown.

A spokesman from Queensland Fire Department said the small blaze was isolated to a toilet area and was out by the time crews arrived.

QFD crews stayed at the property for a short time to help with ventilation before the area was declared safe.
