ACCESS to medical services and aide will no longer be an issue for Dalby and other towns in the Western Downs region. Heart of Australia, in partnership with Arrow Energy, will be taking mobile medical clinics to new locations in regional Queensland, with Dalby being added to the list.

The HEART 2 clinics will begin their travels to Dalby from January, and will be visiting neighbouring towns, including Charleville, Roma, and Stanthorpe.

Arrow Vice President External Relations and Tenure Management, Leisa Elder, believes that the introduction of the new mobile clinics will mean that health in the rural regions of Queensland will no longer be put on the backburner.

"It is addressing an imbalance experienced by people in the bush,” the Vice President said in a statement.

"We're excited about how this new rig will change lives in the Surat and Bowen basins.”
