Capras U17, U19 squads named for pre-season trials in Gladstone

The Capras under-17 girls and under-17 and under-19 boys will have plenty to play for when they tackle the Wide Bay Bulls on Saturday. See who will be playing.

The CQ Capras underage players will go out all guns blazing with plenty to prove in Gladstone on Saturday.

The three teams will tackle the Wide Bay Bulls in trial games as a precursor to the highly anticipated clash between the Capras Q-Cup squad and the Dolphins NRL outfit.

It will be the last chance for the under-17 and under-19 boys to lock in a place in their respective squads for the 2025 season.

Isabelle Jensen will be among the under-17 girls playing on Saturday.

The under-17 girls, whose 30-player squad has already been decided, will be pressing their claims for a place in the line-up for Round 1 of their competition the following weekend.

Gates open at noon at Marley Brown Oval, with the girls kicking off the action at 12.15pm.

The under-17 boys play at 1.40pm and the under-19s at 3.05pm.

There will be an all-abilities game at 4.30pm before the men’s at 6pm.
