A man suffered serious injuries after an early morning crash at Windermere in the Bundaberg region.

At 2.06am Sunday, paramedics took the man to Bundaberg Hospital in a serious condition.

He had suffered face, leg and pelvic injuries after his car rolled at the intersection of Elliott Heads Rd and Saint Johns Road.

No other vehicles were involved in the smash.

The patient was reported to be initially trapped and extricated with assistance of firefighters.
