Matthew Alder killed in horror Bruce Hwy crash at Childers
The motorcyclist who was tragically killed in a Bruce Highway crash at Childers this week has been identified as a beloved family man.

Tributes are pouring in for a motorcyclist who was killed in a horrific crash on the Bruce Highway near Childers on Wednesday, with friends saying the will sorely miss the “good bloke” with a warm heart.
Matthew Alder, who was aged in his 50s, died at the scene when motorcycle he was riding collided with a car near the intersection of Old Creek Rd about 3pm.
Police reports indicate a white Toyota sedan was travelling north on the Bruce Highway when the collision occurred with the southbound motorcycle.
On Friday, heartbreaking tributes were being posted on social media paying tribute to Mr Alder.

His friend Aandra Drago remembered Mr Alder as being a “good bloke” with a warm heart.
Many also sent their love to his wife, Althea and their three children.
“Matt, you will be missed so bad, you were a motorcycling king in my eyes,” Deocan Muireagain said in a post.
Jenna McKenna sent her condolences to his family and friends.
“Fly high Matt, we will meet again,” she wrote.
The drive of the Toyota, a 38-year-old Apple Tree Creek woman was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
Police are calling for any witnesses especially those who may have dashcam footage to come forward.
The Forensic Crash Unit continues to investigate at the scene.
