“Lisa and I are sisters who have lived in Bundaberg for over 20 years,” Ms Bilic said.

“Growing up in Bundaberg, we were always big shoppers who loved going out and about.

“We always talked amongst each other about running a business together one day.”

It was when Ms Free had her little girl that the pair found their niche.

“Aside from the big chain stores, there was nowhere else that Sally could go to purchase gifts for Lisa and her bub apart from going online,” Ms Bilic said.

“We realised that there is a huge opportunity in Bundaberg for baby goods.”

Since opening the boutique baby store, the pair has been able to see the demand for their store.

“We‘ve had expecting parents, family and friends of expecting parents as well as educators come to visit our store to purchase items for themselves and their loved ones,” Ms Bilic said.

“We have had so much support from the community with helping us get the word out there in Bundaberg and across the country.”

The store stocks a range of sensory and development toys, along with Tribe Tropical swimwear, clothing, books, Oi Oi nappy bags, support for parents and bubs and some locally made items.

“We also run an online store which allows customers to purchase our products online,” Ms Bilic said.

“Our online store also gives customers the option to pick up in-store, local delivery in Bundaberg and shipping across the country.

“We offer Afterpay in store as our buy now, pay later option as well as the ability to provide invoices for parents if needed for providers.”
