Bundaberg Hospital has confirmed that an 8 year-old girl who suffered a serious abdominal injury in a car crash is now in a stable condition.
The girl, a 30 year-old woman and a primary-school-aged boy were taken to hospital following a crash involving two cars in Kepnock on Tuesday, March 15.
The woman had sustained abdominal injuries and the boy had sustained a head injury.
The woman and boy have been discharged from hospital.
The crash occurred at 10.33am on Elliot Heads and Sims Roads in Kepnock, a suburb in east Bundaberg.
A QPS spokesperson said in relation to the incident that Police have issued a 60-year-old Svensson Heights man with a Traffic Infringement Notice for allegedly failing to give way at the intersection.

Queensland Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
