First look at $200m over 50s community planned for Elliott Heads
Elliott Heads has landed a massive $200 million development that could transform the sleepy coastal town into Queensland's hottest over-50s destination.
A new $200 million over 50s community has been unveiled in Elliott Heads, 250m from the water and with early construction underway.
Set across almost 15ha, Liven Coastline will feature 316 architecturally designed homes and communal and recreational spaces, with homes priced from $614,300.
A statement released by the developers on Monday said pickleball, tennis and yoga facilities would be included, “an exclusive clubhouse featuring a central landscaped green open space, pool, gym, cinema, dog park, golf simulator, and much more”.
It said buyers would be able to choose from a mix of two and three-bedroom homes, each with two bathrooms and an alfresco area, single or double garage, with selected designs featuring a multi-purpose room, study nook, or large walk-in pantry.
Liven Coastline will be the first land lease community in Elliott Heads and one of the largest on the Burnett Coast, the statement claimed.
Liven CEO Andrea Richards described Elliott Heads as one of Queensland’s hidden gems.
“With the adjacent South Beach precinct now taking shape, and new shopping, cafés, a tavern and community facilities on the way, it’s a place that offers connection, security and the freedom to live life on your own terms,” she said.
The launch of Liven Coastline follows the successes of Liven Beach Road in Hervey Bay and Liven Willow Rise in Southside Gympie,Ms Richards said challenged the traditional model of over 50s living “with a more enlivening and fun-filled experience for today’s young-at-heart generation”.
Liven Coastline is located 15 minutes from the Bundaberg CBD, and will include 56 caravan and boat parking spaces.
The land lease model has no entry and exit fees, and no stamp duty, she said.
The first Liven Coastline homes are already for sale and expected to start construction in the first half of 2026.
