After narrowly beating out 33 other nominees, Bundaberg’s newly crowned best brow artist says she’s “feeling the love”. POLL RESULTS, STORY.

Whether you prefer thin or thick, timeless or edgy brows, Bundaberg’s brow salons offer plenty of talented technicians to choose from. But who is the best in town?

First runner-up was Tayla Andrews from The Brow Bar Boutique, coming in a close second with 24 per cent of the vote.

Second runner-up was Tania Louise from Cosmetic Studio, with 12 per cent of the vote.

The winner, with 25 per cent of the vote, was Bre Powell from The Wax Pot Boutique.

“I am so grateful to everyone who voted for me,” Ms Powell said.

“It’s a massive achievement, and I appreciate the support from our loyal clients, friends, and family.

“To be voted #1 brow artist in Bundaberg means a lot. I’m honoured to have so many of you supporting me. I’m really feeling the love right now!”

Ms Powell said she fell in love with brows about 12 years ago. Since then, she delved deeper into the industry by becoming a cosmetic tattoo artist

Ms Powell explained how brows have evolved beyond just being a facial feature.

“I get to create every day, I get to wake up and make people feel good, I get to enjoy what I do, and that makes me so incredibly happy.”

She also shared her journey in the industry saying she has owned The Wax Pot for around 10 years.

“My cosmetic tattoo side, Arch and Sway, has been a part of that for about five years.”

She said the industry is ever-changing and ever-evolving.

“We are learning so much about how we can better the things we do and how we can educate our clients correctly. Our industry may seem like all we do is look pretty and drink coffee, but we work hard. It’s not easy; it’s a lot of blood, sweat, and tears. But it seems it’s paid off with being voted #1!”
