Premier David Crisafulli pulled out all the bells and whistles when he rolled into Bundaberg on Monday, eager to share his latest vision for Queensland.
With Queensland Day less than a month away, the Premier showed up, horns blazing, in a brightly coloured combi, ready to announce the ‘All the Best’ campaign, which he said would celebrate all the things that make living in the Sunshine State great.
Mr Crisafulli was joined by MP Steven Bennett at the Barrel at Bundaberg Brewed Drinks to kickstart Queensland Day celebrations.
One hundred and sixty-six years ago, on June 6 1859, Queensland broke off from New South Wales, which is “worth celebrating”, he said.
“This year I want Queenslanders to get excited about celebrating Queensland Day.”
Mr Bennett said it was important to recognise the contributions Bundaberg, and communities like it, make to the State, through local agriculture, manufacturing and tourism.
“It’s about where we live, where we love and where we raise of families”.
“Tell us why you love living here,” he said.
In honour of Queensland Day, Bundaberg Brewed Drinks, released a limited-edition Ginger Beer, to mark the State’s 166th birthday.
Only 166 Ginger Beer bottles labelled with this years Queensland Day logo will be distributed across Queensland.
Founder and Master Brewer of Bundaberg Brewed Drinks, Cliff Fleming said “great thing have happened in this state”.
“I’m proud to be part [it]” he said.
The Premier joined Mr Fleming and his daughter Rae-Lee Fleming, in a toast to the iconic state-brewed beverage.
Queenslanders across the State are encouraged to put their town on the map and vote for their local ‘bests’ across 15 categories:
- Fish and chips
- Meat pie
- Coffee
- Bahn Mi
- Parmi
- Ice cream
- Burger
- Beer
- Pub
- Cafe
- Event

With the 2032 Olympics in Brisbane around the corner, Mr Crisafulli said he wanted Queensland to continue to flourish.
“I want people to look at Queensland and dream big” he said
“[And] fall in love with the state the way I’ve fallen in love with the State.”
Residents are reminded to keep their eye out for the colourful combi as it makes its way around the state in the lead up to Queensland Day, on June 6, when ‘All the Best’ winners will announced as well.
