The Bundaberg NewsMail headed to formals across the region, photographing the arrivals of couples, singles and friends all with one thing in common - they looked amazing.

St Luke’s Anglican School

It was a night to remember as St Luke’s Anglican School’s class of 2022 celebrated the end of their schooling.

Sequins, bright colours and classic flowers adorned outfits.

At the end of the evening, the final car broke down - but like true friends, the 2022 guys rushed to push the car.

Bundaberg North State High School 

It was a night of fun, fashion and celebrations as more than 40 North Bundaberg High students arrived in amazing style to the Brothers Sports Club to celebrate their 2022 formal.

Floral dresses and men’s mullets were trending at this year’s glamorous end of school celebration with a 1920s theme of decorations welcoming students.

The students officially graduated from Year 12 on Wednesday, with their formal a chance to dress up and arrive in style, then let their hair down and party the night away after a challenging year and 12 years of schooling.

Isis State High School

Isis State High rolled out the red carpet for its 2022 Year 12 graduates at this year’s formal event, with iridescent dresses and vintage Mustangs trending.

The event was held at the school’s stadium and indoor hall, with warm lighting and a woodland theme awaiting the graduates.

Many of the arrivals were met with a chorus of cheers, with school captains and dux students clear favourites among the crowd.

Floral dresses and vintage cars defined Bundaberg Christian Colleges formal evening.

Family and friends crowded the stands to watch the Year 12 students show off in the most spectacular evening on their school calendar.

Students arrived in style to bid a glamorous goodbye to their high school experience, with the arrivals of Oscar Li and Tayla Larsen generating some of the biggest cheers from the crowd of onlookers.

Bundaberg State High School

It was Bundaberg State High School’s night of nights - more than 100 students and countless family and friends gathered to celebrate the end of high school and the start of a new beginning.

Arrivals came in all kinds of cards, from vintage Fords to Neuron scooters.

Kepnock State High School

More than 100 graduates arrived in style at the Brothers Sports Club on Friday afternoon when Kepnock State High School seniors celebrated their final day in their final year of school.

A woodland garden theme of decorations awaited the Class of 2022 in the ballroom, with lace-up dresses and classic 4WD’s trending.
