THIS is one for Toowoomba residents who work the nine-to-five daily grind.
If you haven't been able to experience the vintage extravagance that's Inbound Toowoomba, well you're now in luck.
The gorgeous railway restaurant now opens on Fridays and Saturdays for dinner.
It originally opened Monday to Friday from 9.30am-3pm for brunch, morning teas, lunch or afternoon outings.
The graceful food venue is also a popular setting for weddings and events.
Now the restaurant also opens two nights a week, offering the perfect "brasserie" menu.
From 5pm a bar snack menu is on offer and dinner is available from 6pm.
The dinner menu includes delectable items like house bread, soup, beef sirloin, pan-fried barramundi or pork belly.
Desserts include apple cinnamon tarte, house-baked cheesecake or classic creme caramel.
Inbound Toowoomba general manager Mark Rawlings said the restaurant found its feet after almost two years in business.
"There's been a lot of call for Friday and Saturday evening dinner," he said.
"We primarily like to keep our evenings available for functions but there's a good market for casual dining on weekends - it's lovely to have a summer dinner on our platform.
"There are a lot of cafes that do breakfast in Toowoomba but that's not us, we target a different market."
Mr Rawlings said the classic menu kept the ambiance of the old railway alive.
"If you look at it traditionally, at a brasserie, you get a glass of wine, a light meal or something more substantial in a classic, casual setting," he said.
Mr Rawlings said the menu would evolve seasonally.
"We plan to do more events ourselves; we're doing autumn dinners, spring brunches and creating more high teas," he said.
The elegant railway station, built around the 1890s, has many of its heritage features intact.
The restaurant space is the original railway refreshment rooms with high-pressed metal ceilings and French doors that open onto the platform.
Enjoy dining in the historic railway precinct, in the state-listed heritage station building.
