Police search for driver after alleged stolen ute crashes

POLICE are investigating a single-vehicle crash in Wilsonton Heights this morning.

POLICE are investigating a single-vehicle crash in Wilsonton Heights this morning.

Reports suggest a car, believed to be stolen, crashed into a set of traffic lights at the intersection of Hogg and Tor Sts about 7.30am.

The front end of the black Toyota Hilux ute was extensively damaged in the crash.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services on scene secured the area and cleared a fluid spill on the roadway.

Police are believed to be looking for at least one person in connection with the incident.
