Transgender and gender-diverse Queenslanders will be able to change their sex on their birth certificate without undergoing sexual reassignment surgery, under new laws passed in June.

Targeting 12-16 year olds who can’t even decide what they want to wear. How is this legislation needed? To allow these kids without consent of their parents to make an application to the court is a joke.

At birth we cannot choose our parents, gender, physical & mental ability, looks, etc but most of us thankfully accept what we were given. Why do some reject this notion and why do others encourage such rejection?
